The<\/ins>school El Carmelo de Cagua<\/strong> started the school year with the Bicentennial of<\/strong> the Carmelite Congregation of the Vedruna Carmelite Charity as a central theme<\/strong>, based on synodality.<\/p>\n\n

In the last meeting of educators, held at the beginning of May in Boca de Uchire, Anzo\u00e1tegui, the pastoral motto to work during this Bicentennial year in all the Vedruna centers of the country was established: “Vedruna in synodality”<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

We left our daily spaces, in order to be more focused on what we want, on walking together, teachers, workers, administrative staff and management team. All of us together, wanting to build the road together and towards the new horizon that the celebration of the Bicentennial marks for us. <\/p>\n\n

In a family and joyful atmosphere we discovered the valueof<\/del> walking together, welcomingthe<\/ins> differences not as an obstacle, but as a gift, recognizing the heritage that Joaquina left us, that the sisters have sustained during these 200 years of congregational life and that today are “our mission and commitment”, which is our mission to keep alive: her legacy, the Vedruna charism <\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

In this way we begin this school year 2025-2026, strengthening our mind and spirit. In the name of the Holy Trinity. <\/p>\n\n
