Volunteering that unites continents through service and hope<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

The University of Malaga<\/strong> (Spain) has been developing, for some years now, a valuable volunteer service in the Fe y Alegr\u00eda Rural Network No. 72<\/strong> of Pucallpa, with the participation of students in the last cycle of the faculties of Medicine and Education.<\/p>\n\n

This year, between July 28 and mid-August 2025, we were joined by four students: three from the School of Medicine and one from the School of Education. Their motivation was clear: to put their knowledge and skills at the service of our students and their families.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n

During their stay, they offered school reinforcement activities and workshops on Mental Health, Sexual Education, Emotional Education and Phonological Awareness. These actions were not only directed to students, but also to mothers and fathers, with a special focus on the prevention of family violence and mental health care. <\/p>\n\n

The experience was highly enriching: students and families participated enthusiastically, showing openness and commitment. In particular, parents took on the challenge of encouraging dialogue at home as a means of approaching and detecting needs, of supporting their children in schoolwork whenever possible, and of rejecting all forms of violence, understanding that it damages brain development and breaks the harmony that should prevail in the family and the community. <\/p>\n\n

From Fe y Alegr\u00eda, we express our deep gratitude to the University of Malaga for sending their students and for the valuable contribution they make in these rural communities, where vulnerability is a daily reality.<\/p>\n\n

Their presence encourages us to continue building together spaces of life, learning and hope.<\/strong> <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n
