Between October 2025 and January 2026, Sisters Maria Teresa Cuervo and Maggie D’Costa will make the visit of the General Team to various countries of the Province of Vedrun America. <\/p>\n\n

This is the first chronicle of their visit, from October 22 to November 3, 2025, during which they shared with the two Vedruna communities of Colombia: Consuelo-Oasis and Quibd\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n

During our visit, we were always accompanied by rain, something typical of a tropical zone, both in Bogot\u00e1 and in Quibd\u00f3. In Quibd\u00f3, the downpours were more intense than in the capital. <\/p>\n\n

In the days leading up to the visit, our hearts were preparing to welcome, embrace and be surprised<\/strong> by the life in mission of the Vedruna Sisters in Colombia, in two small communities: Consuelo-Oasis and Quibd\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n

Community meetings and Assembly in Bogota<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

During the visit we held two meetings in each community. The topics discussed aroused interest and contributed to the formation of all of them. In addition, we met with both communities in the full-day assembly in Bogota. We met to reflect on synodality and shared leadership<\/strong>, based on the chapter document “Born Again”,<\/a> the Word of God and the notes of the Vedruna Charism. It was a very enriching space, for which the sisters of the communities were very grateful. <\/p>\n\n
