Last November 30, Srs. Nelly, Elma and Ivy, and our postulant Joy, joined the 2nd<\/sup> Trillion Peso March Rally<\/strong> in EDSA (Epifanio de los Santos) Monument. They stand with the Filipino people and with the Church in the continuing fight for social justice. In a time when corruption is stealing our hope and strangling the future of our nation, we choose to stand once again. We refuse to be silent as our country is weakened and the common good betrayed. We continue to join the call for truth, accountability, and good governance<\/strong>\u2014one that is faithful to the people it serves.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On God\u2019s own timing, a double rainbow arched above us<\/strong> -a biblical sign of covenant and fidelity (Genesis 9:12-17). This was more than a natural phenomenon; it was God\u2019s gentle assurance that even in storms of injustice, corruption and uncertainty, hope remains possible, and new beginnings are real.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our nation continues to grapple with the painful reality of corruption that harms our people, robs the poor, weakens our institutions, and threatens the future of the next generation. In recent months, we have witnessed countless Filipinos\u2014students, families, workers, clergy, religious, and community leaders\u2014stand up and speak out with courage: Enough is enough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2nd<\/sup> Trillion Peso Rally is both a protest and a prayer<\/strong>. A protest against the abuses that destroy our nation, and a prayer that God may heal our land and renew our leaders and people.\u00a0 We walk together as one committed to justice, truth, and the dignity of every Filipino.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Various groups held mass actions to demand transparency and accountability from the government amid the national budget scandal and allegations of misuse of government funds in infrastructure projects, particularly flood-control initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The protests took place during the birth anniversary of Gat. Andres Bonifacio, a hero known as the country\u2019s Father of the Philippine Revolution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Around 86 Dioceses supported the Trillion Peso March Nationwide (NCR- National Capital Region, the regions of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.) Thanks to God everything turned out to be peaceful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
