{"id":35267,"date":"2026-03-27T13:14:14","date_gmt":"2026-03-27T12:14:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vedruna.org\/public-statement-for-peace\/"},"modified":"2026-04-07T16:14:39","modified_gmt":"2026-04-07T14:14:39","slug":"public-statement-for-peace","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vedruna.org\/en\/public-statement-for-peace\/","title":{"rendered":"Public Declaration for Peace"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Faced with the current context of violence and war in our world, the sisters gathered at the Extended General Council in Vic, March 9-23, 2026, have drawn up and signed this Public Declaration for Peace.  <\/p>\n\n<p>In communion with the Church -especially with the words of Pope Leo XIV and Consecrated Religious Life-, we join the many initiatives and voices that, from different spheres, actively work for peace.<\/p>\n\n<p>From our liberating, healing and educating charism, we reaffirm with conviction that no cause can legitimize the harm or destruction of others.
