Ant\u00f2nia Gillibets, Yolanda Moreno and Mabel Burgell<\/strong> intervened to present the different aspects on which they have researched over many years: the historical context in which Joaquina lived, her spirituality and following of the Gospel, or her educational spirit.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Sister <strong>Sisita Fiol,<\/strong> who was Sister General of our Congregation, referred to all the participants as &#8220;Matriarchs [&#8230;], weavers who have worked with a very particular thread, which is the fire of Joaquina. That fire that was not extinguished with their time and that they have been able to translate into different languages&#8221;.  <\/p>\n\n<p>The activity was organized by the <strong>Bicentennial Commission of the Province<\/strong>, as part of the proposals to celebrate the 200th anniversary of our Congregation.
