In the Vedruna Province of Africa, the feast of St. Joaquina de Vedruna, celebrated on May 22, had a special touch in this 2026, being the year of the Bicentenary of the Congregation she founded. <\/p>\n\n

A\u00f1isok, Equatorial Guinea<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

We share the moment of joy that we have lived for three days on the occasion of the celebration of the feast of St. Joaquina<\/strong>, our mother. <\/p>\n\n

In the community, we enjoyed the spiritual preparation through a novena for St. Joaquina. In addition, at the Vedruna School in A\u00f1isok, different activities were organized during three days: games, poetry, theater, dances and soccer. <\/p>\n\n

We ended with a thanksgiving mass sung by Vedruna students, especially those approaching the end of their school years, who shared an emotional farewell speech to the school. <\/p>\n\n

After mass, we ended the day sharing a table: a meal in a good atmosphere. It was a great joy for the A\u00f1isok community to share this moment with Sisters Maguy Mbima, provincial, and Lucia Mbala, provincial administrator, who are visiting our community.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

May St. Joaquina continue to intercede for us, and may joy always be our main virtue, seeking finally to preserve and live the Vedruna charism. <\/p>\n
