The new academic year 2026\u20132027 has begun with great joy and enthusiasm in Vedruna schools across India. After the summer holidays, students returned to their schools with fresh energy, new hopes, and a desire to learn. Schools welcomed them through prayer services, orientation programmes, and activities that helped both new and returning students settle into school life with confidence and a sense of belonging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The beginning of the academic year was also a time of renewal for teachers. Many educators attended seminars, workshops, and orientation programmes on emotional well-being, collaborative learning, educational innovation, and effective teaching methods. These programmes strengthened their commitment to providing quality education rooted in the values of the Gospel and the charism of St. Joaquina de Vedruna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Academic Excellence<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The State Board examination results brought great joy to many of our educational institutions. Carmel Ashish Convent School in Maharashtra achieved a 100% pass rate. Deep Darshan School also recorded a 100% pass rate in the SSC examinations, with students securing the top ranks in the Dangs District. Vedruna Samajik Kendra, Fatima Convent High School, Vidhyakiran High School, and several other Vedruna schools across Gujarat celebrated excellent results in both Secondary and Higher Secondary examinations. These achievements reflect the hard work of the students, the dedication of the teachers, and the constant support of parents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Caring for Our Common Home<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

World Environment Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in many of our schools. Students and teachers took part in tree-planting programmes by planting saplings on their campuses. Through these activities, they learned the importance of protecting nature, caring for God’s creation, and adopting environmentally friendly habits. These celebrations encouraged young people to become responsible caretakers of our common home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Promoting Health and Well-being<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

International Yoga Day was observed in many schools with the guidance of trained instructors. Students and teachers practised different yoga exercises and learned how yoga helps to improve physical health, emotional well-being, concentration, and self-discipline. These programmes encouraged healthy lifestyles and balanced personal growth.<\/p>\n\n\n
