The month of August has left a deep impression on the hearts of our community at the Santa Joaquina de Vedruna Chapel in Cantaura, Venezuela<\/strong>. It has been a time of grace, fellowship, and spiritual renewal, where faith was expressed through shared prayer, joyful service, and a renewed commitment<\/strong> to our families and young people. <\/p>\n\n

One of the highlights of this period was the celebration of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary<\/strong>, when we came together to contemplate the mystery of her glory through a moving \u201cLiving Rosary<\/strong>.\u201d Each mystery and each Hail Mary kindled the light of the Gospel in our hearts, reminding us that Mary is our constant guide, a refuge of hope, and a model of unconditional devotion. Seeing the community gathered around the altar was a living testimony to the presence of the Mother of God<\/strong> in our town. <\/p>\n\n

In this same festive spirit, we celebrated with great joy our First Vedruna Vacation Program<\/strong>, held as part of the commemoration of the feast day of Saint Joaquina de Vedruna<\/strong>. It was an inclusive and festive experience that included the active participation of the parents, who, together with their children, shared activities, learning, and moments of prayer. The presence of the families enriched each day, demonstrating that faith is best lived and passed on when we walk together<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

All of this fruitful work was made possible thanks to our shared efforts<\/strong>. We are especially grateful for the pastoral guidance and generous dedication of altar server Julio Canache<\/strong> and seminarian Samuel Suniaga<\/strong>, whose example inspired each of the activities. Likewise, we acknowledge the tireless work of the volunteers at St. Jude Thaddeus Parish<\/strong>, whose selfless dedication made this beautiful communal experience possible. <\/p>\n\n

Celebrating the Easter of Saint Joaquina de Vedruna<\/strong> invites us to contemplate the true meaning of the \u201cpassage\u201d to eternal life: a self-giving that does not fade away, but rather takes root in works of love, education, and service. Her legacy reminds us that everyday holiness<\/strong> is built on patience, charity, and an open door to our neighbors. May the example of her Easter continue to kindle in the families of Cantaura the desire to live with firm faith, renewed hope, and a heart always ready to serve<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n
