Students from three educational communities gathered in San Felipe to share their faith, strengthen their bonds of fellowship, and renew their commitment to the mission, as part of the Congregation\u2019s bicentennial celebrations.<\/h2>\n\n

From October 9 to 11, young people from the Santa Joaquina de Vedruna School in Puente Alto; the Santa Rosa School in Constituci\u00f3n; and the Vedruna School in San Felipe participated in the National Vedruna Youth Gathering,<\/strong> held in San Felipe. The experience helped strengthen ties among the communities, deepen their understanding of Vedruna spirituality, and renew their missionary commitment.<\/p>\n\n

The delegations, accompanied by their teachers and chaperones, arrived on the afternoon of October 8 and were welcomed with a dinner, despite the heavy rain. Afterward, they shared a moment of communal prayer to kick off the gathering.<\/p>\n\n

The 9th was devoted to various educational and reflective activities on the life and legacy of Saint Joaquina de Vedruna<\/strong>, as well as on the meaning of carrying out mission work in today\u2019s world. They also traced the history of the Congregation\u2019s presence in Chile, recognizing the roots of a charism that continues to inspire new generations. Through the testimonies of young people who participated in the gathering in Vic, Spain, they were able to recognize themselves as part of a large family spread throughout the world. Each community also presented a cultural showcase of its identity in an atmosphere of joy and fraternity.<\/p>\n\n

On the 10th, the young people made a pilgrimage to the Shrine of Saint Teresa of Los Andes<\/strong> in Auco ,<\/strong> where they observed the Stations of the Cross, culminating at the cross located at the top of the hill. It was an experience of spirituality and reflection on faith, hope, and the importance of walking together. Later, they participated in the Mass on the esplanade of the Shrine, alongside thousands of pilgrims from different parts of the country. The Vedruna Family was also present, sharing their faith at this important place of pilgrimage.<\/p>\n\n

On Sunday the 11th, they participated in the Mass at the Chapel of Santa Joaquina<\/strong>, together with the local community. Afterward, each delegation planned future missionary initiatives to put into practice the values and lessons learned during the gathering. A prayer of sending closed the day, encouraging the young people to be witnesses to what they had experienced and to continue bringing the mission to life in their communities.<\/p>\n
