In addition to questioning the standards of independence, the actions of the &#8220;Grito dos Excluidos\/as&#8221; (Cry for the <strong>\n  <em>&#8220;Grito dos Excluidos\/as&#8221; (Cry of the Excluded)<\/em>\n<\/strong> seek to promote a reflection on a country that needs to be fairer and with opportunities for all Brazilians without any kind of distinction.<\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:39% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"540\" height=\"540\" src=\"https:\/\/vedruna.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/foto-en-el-texto.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5447 size-full\" srcset=\"https:\/\/vedruna.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/foto-en-el-texto.jpg 540w, https:\/\/vedruna.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/foto-en-el-texto-480x480.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) 540px, 100vw\" \/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p>This year we celebrated the 29th Grito with the theme: <em>&#8220;Life First&#8221;<\/em>. The central question was, &#8220;What are you hungry for?&#8221; Posters with numerous expressions on this issue accompanied the walk. There were also many shouts of protest, among which <em>&#8220;Fora a Zema&#8221; <\/em>(out with Zema) predominated. Zema is the governor of the State of Minas Gerais who is trying to privatize everything, electricity, water services, he even wants to build a bypass to favor the passage of his ore trucks and&#8230; many other actions that favor the powerful and are detrimental to the poor people.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p>This year we had the opportunity to participate as a Vedruna family, in the communities of Belo Horizonte and Campinas, together with many lay people and the people in general with whom we are in the struggle for a more just country where rights are respected.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right\"><strong>Srs.
