Everything that begins comes to an end. This Friday we concluded the XIII Assembly of VedrunAmerica that gathered, from February 14 to 21 in Lima, 19 Sisters from 12 countries of America, most of them in person.
“Hope opens new paths” was the motto of the Assembly, and with this feeling we lived each moment, each personal and group reflection, and each agreement we reached.
With the review of the sheets Nº 1 and 2 of the Chapter Document “Born Again”, which gathers the feelings of all the sisters, we see the need to continue taking steps in the care of our relationships, in the revision of structures, sustainability…. Always pointing towards new horizons: centrality in Jesus, care of our spiritual life and our vocation, commitment to the mission, our commitment to vocational culture and youth mission, valuing the journey as a charismatic family.
We thank God for the opportunity to prepare ourselves to celebrate the Bicentennial, as a path of hope to be born again.
The celebration of the Eucharist ended our meeting, giving thanks for the journey of VedrunAmerica and for discovering the passage of God in our lives and the history of our people, from our vulnerability being presence and living witness of Jesus.
