Interreligious and communion dialogue

On March 28, during this time of Lent, the Carmelite Sisters of Charity Vedruna and the team of the Kekeli Center lived a profound retreat at the novitiate of the Salesian Fathers of Don Bosco, near Lomé.

This meeting, which brought together Catholics, Protestants and Muslims, was an intense moment of prayer, exchange and fraternity, fostering interreligious dialogue and communion beyond differences.

Under the motto “Communication, source of peace and fraternity”, Father Master invited the participants to reflect on the means of communication according to the generations, in the light of the Gospels (Matthew, 19, 16-22; 7, 12). He emphasized non-violent communication as a path of empathy, respect and benevolence.

In the afternoon, a moment of relaxation reinforced this fraternity with a game on the beach between the men and the women of the Kekeli Center; the victory went to the men with a score of 2 goals to 0.

The day concluded with a fraternal meal full of joy and conviviality.
