To mark International Day of the Girl, celebrated annually on October 11, the Kekeli Center organized an awareness-raising event at Rama Middle School in Lomé to promote the rights of young girls and support their development.
This meeting provided an opportunity to discuss key topics with the students, such as girls’ rights, gender equality, protection from violence, and the importance of education. Through this initiative, the Kekeli Center continues to encourage young girls to recognize their worth, believe in their abilities, and build a better future.
This celebration serves as a reminder that every girl deserves to grow up in a safe, respectful environment that supports her development. It also highlights the need to strengthen awareness-raising efforts to combat discrimination and violence against girls.
