On 12th July 2026, Vedruna Girls’ Hostel in Mintong, Arunachal Pradesh, organized a Quiz Competition on the life of St. Joaquina de Vedruna and the history of the Vedruna Congregation. Nearly 60 hostel students enthusiastically participated after spending days of preparation and learning about the life, mission, and rich heritage of St. Joaquina and the Congregation.
The competition provided a valuable opportunity for the students to revisit and appreciate the history and charism of the Congregation. It not only enriched their knowledge but also helped them deepen their understanding of the values and mission handed down by St. Joaquina.
The quiz was creatively conducted by Sr. Joysline and Sr. Kusum, who made the event both informative and enjoyable through an engaging PowerPoint presentation, interactive activities, and well-planned quiz rounds.
The event concluded on a joyful note, leaving the participants inspired to follow the example of St. Joaquina de Vedruna by living her values in their own stage of life. This is one of the many activities organized to celebrate the 200 anniversary of the foundation of the Carmelite Sisters of Charity Vedruna.
