On Sunday, May 31, 2026, the campus of St. Xavier’s School, Jail Road, vibrated with spiritual fervor and youthful energy as it hosted a powerful one-day youth animator program titled “Unleash the fire”. Organized for the vibrant youth of St. Xavier’s Parish, Bhavnagar, the event brought together a total of 25 enthusiastic participants, including 20 dynamic local youth determined to deepen their faith and fellowship.
A Grace-Filled Start
The spirit-filled day began with a solemn Youth Mass, anchoring the hearts of everyone present in the Holy Eucharist.
Faith, Action, and a Timely Realization
The core Youth Program, which ran seamlessly until 2:00 PM, was expertly coordinated by a team of three Jesus Youth leaders under the dynamic leadership of Roshan Bhaiya. Through high-energy action songs, deep testimonies, and moving moments of Adoration, the youth were encouraged to live out holiness in their ordinary daily lives.
A major highlight of the day was the interactive input sessions. Reflecting on the challenges of growing up in a digital age, the participants engaged in meaningful discussions regarding modern distractions. In a profound collective conclusion, the youth noted that in today’s world:
“Social media, rather than money, has become the root cause of modern evils, easily distracting our minds and eroding our time if left unchecked.”
They resolved to practice healthier digital habits, inspired by the tech-savvy example of Blessed Carlo Acutis and the enduring 200-year legacy of St. Joaquina de Vedruna. Sister Rosy shared her vocation story and the life of St. Joaquina de Vedruna.
