As part of our Vedruna Bicentenary celebrations, a special quiz on the life of St. Joaquina de Vedruna was conducted for the teachers of Carmel Ashish School on 5th September 2026. The quiz was conducted by Sr. Jostna CCV, and Srs. Silvia and Lorina were the judges.
The quiz was conducted in four rounds, consisting of 20 important questions in total. Each round carried 20 points. The questions covered the major milestones of St. Joaquina’s life—her childhood, faith, family, vocation and foundation of the Congregation.
The teachers participated with great enthusiasm and enjoyed learning, remembering, and discovering more about the inspiring life of St. Joaquina. It was a joyful and meaningful way to deepen our knowledge of our Mother Foundress. The winning group was presented with a small gift as a token of appreciation for their enthusiastic participation and excellent performance.
May St. Joaquina de Vedruna continue to inspire us through her legacy and pedagogy of love, helping us to live “For the glory of God and the good of our neighbour.”
