On Saturday, September 26, more than 200 of us gathered to continue our journey together as the Vedruna Family, sharing a thoughtful reflection led by Sister Virma Barión.
Under the title “The Seed That Beats in Weakness: Conversations with Ruth, Naomi, and Joaquina About Our Life Projects,” we delved into prayerful reading and hermeneutics, to confront our reality and allow ourselves to be challenged by three courageous women from Scripture and our history who, starting from a place of fragility and exclusion, knew how to preserve a charism and transform their times.
We gathered virtually from four continents, enjoying the opportunity to continue growing as the Vedruna Charismatic Family during this gathering organized by the Vedruna Associated Laity, the International Commission of the Charismatic Family, and the Vedrunamérica Formation Commission.
Attendance was very high and diverse, and the gathering was received with great enthusiasm. The participants particularly appreciated the richness of the program, the insights offered to shed light on our own reality, and the opportunity to share a space for reflection and deeper exploration of the charism together. It was a very enriching experience that helped us continue to grow and move forward as the Vedruna Charismatic Family.
