“We walk in communion and are committed to young people; we accompany them in their various realities” (NdN)
During this missionary month, we join the Church in prayer and in our commitment to the various missions present and active within it. Each year during this same month, we celebrate National Youth Day, organized by the National Conference of Bishops of Brazil. This year, the theme of the gathering was: “Go, young person, and rebuild my Church!”—inspired by the biblical passage: “Zeal for your house will consume me” (Jn 2:17).
“In keeping with our preferential option for young people, we want to care for them” (NdN)
On the 10th, our community took part in this celebration along with the parish’s Confirmation candidates and other young people from the Archdiocese. It was a time for reflection, singing, dancing, spirituality, dialogue, and plenty of fellowship among everyone.
On this occasion, the Religious Life community of Campinas was also present, sharing our charisms and offering young people the opportunity to explore and reflect on their vocation. To this end, we shared materials and created spaces for dialogue about our congregations, helping them learn about different vocations and discover God’s call in their lives.
