On July 27th the pastoral and Direction of Colegio Santa Cruz held a Special Training Meeting for Educators. The central theme was the Vedruna Family, and the focus of the day was on the inspiring life of St. Joaquina de Vedruna.
The meeting began with a moment of relaxation in an open space in contact with nature. After a warm welcome in a joyful and familiar atmosphere, the educators were invited to reflect on the life, spirituality and values embodied by Saint Joaquina.
In groups we reviewed aspects of the life and work of St. Joaquina, which culminated with the arrival of the sisters in Brazil and the creation of the school. The sharing was very enriching. The Vedruna mission in Brazil was presented, going through each community and presence, making known the different services that are developed in each region, the changes that have occurred over time and how the story continues.
