Association of Health Promoters of Celendín (APRONSAC) celebrates 43 years of service, formation and Vedruna spirit in Celendín.

The Association of Health Promoters of Celendín (APRONSAC), made up of peasants from various villages in the province of Celendín, Peru, celebrated with joy and gratitude its 43rd anniversary of foundation. This significant date brought together the promoters in an atmosphere of meeting, learning and fraternity, reaffirming their commitment to serving rural communities.

As part of the celebration, the traditional training week was held, a space designed to strengthen knowledge, share experiences and renew enthusiasm for the mission they have been carrying out for more than four decades in favor of the health and well-being of their people.

During these days, the Day of the Promoter was also celebrated , commemorated every June 4, a special occasion to recognize the valuable work of those who, with dedication and closeness, accompany the families of the most remote communities of the province.

The celebration also included a special moment to join the Bicentenary of the Congregation. With simplicity and depth, the participants shared what they knew and valued about St. Joaquina de Vedruna, inspired by the reading of the book of Proverbs. It was an emotional space in which wisdom, trust in God and commitment to the most needy were highlighted, values that continue to illuminate the mission of health promoters.

As is APRONSAC’s tradition, the meeting concluded with a fraternal celebration that allowed for sharing, gratitude for the road traveled and strengthening the bonds of friendship among the participants. With grateful hearts for these 43 years of history, the promoters returned to their communities renewed in their vocation of service and encouraged to continue building life and hope where it is most needed.
