The Vedruna Charismatic Family of Fonds Parisien met to make a stop during this time of Lent and to reflect on Hope.
Starting from a sharing of experience and personal experience on hope and allowing ourselves to be enlightened by biblical texts, we have been making the path of rediscovering hope. The very fact of meeting to reflect and share life is already a sign of it.
The community of sisters participated virtually and prepared this meeting, in person, with the formation team in the frontier market. The end of Lent is a good time to rethink our life, our relationship with God and with others.
The dynamic was to see how we can help each other and to do so by trying to rediscover where the hope is in each person. Pope Francis was quoted in his papal bull:
“invites all believers in the world to walk in hope and to be pilgrims of hope in the footsteps of Jesus, letting his word transform our hearts to be more supportive and to foster greater fraternal sharing.”
It was remarked how we are living in difficult times all over the world, and in our own country we have been plunged into insecurity for years. This situation has led many people to abandon everything in search of a better life for themselves and their families.
In the process, many have lost their jobs, loved ones and many of their assets. That is why it is important and necessary to talk about how to rediscover hope.
The Lord does not wait and continues to show us lights that allow us to continue to rediscover paths of hope!
