On Tuesday, December 16, 2025, the Vedruna School Complex organized a spiritual retreat for students and teachers.
The day began with a time of meditation led by Abbot Ruddy Marcus Abouza, vicar of the parish of Saint-Martin and professor of religion at the center. The theme was the Advent season, and the common thread was:
Preparar nuestros corazones y nuestras vidas para recibir al Mesías, Cristo, que nacerá en Navidad
This intense moment of recollection was followed by the Mass of Thanksgiving, celebrated in an atmosphere of prayer and hope, which was a beautiful interior preparation for the feast of the Nativity.
It should be noted that this spiritual activity also coincides with the beginning of the celebrations of the Bicentennial of the Congregation of the Carmelite Sisters of Charity Vedruna.
