Yesterday, Wednesday, June 24, two major earthquakes struck Venezuela, one of the countries where our Vedruna Family is present through three communities of sisters and various mission centers.
In light of this situation, we would like to report that all the Sisters and communities in the country are doing well.
The Communications, Prophecy, and Care for Creation Team of the Vedrunamérica Province has shared a statement with remarks from Sister Carmen Alicia, the delegate from Venezuela, confirming that all our sisters and communities are safe.
From a distance, we stand in solidarity and pray for all those affected by this situation. We ask for comfort for those who have experienced moments of distress, as well as strength and hope for those working to provide aid, care, and support.
We stand united in prayer with the Venezuelan people, and we trust that solidarity and mutual care will continue to be a source of hope during these difficult times.
