Days of encounter, of deep and grateful sharing.

From January 10 to 19, the sisters of Chile gathered in Puente Alto to live a few days of Spiritual Exercises and celebrate our Assembly as a country. We counted with the presence of Sr. Marisol SanchezShe was a member of the Provincial Team, who shared her life with us with simplicity and joy.
Claudio Pumarino, a Franciscan priest, who led the Spiritual Exercises. They were days of attentive listening to the Lord, guided by simple and, at the same time, deeply meaningful guidelines. His clear language, his hopeful gaze and his methodology centered on the Word and on synodality made this time a true experience of Grace. This year we also opened this space to the participation of Vedruna laity, and two of them, Gleny and Paulina, shared with us this special moment.
At the end of the retreat, we dedicated a day to rest and fraternal sharing. Together we enjoyed lunch at the “Posada del Canelo”, followed by an afternoon of relaxed conversation in contact with nature.
The Assembly, held from January 17 to 19, was dedicated to sharing and reflecting on the synthesis of the community guidelines sent from the Province; reaching a consensus on our contribution to the EGC based on the questions proposed; socializing the 2025 economic report presented by the Sr. Maria Isabel HerreraWe also agreed on the dates and themes of the meetings for the year 2026 and renewed our commitment to collaborate so that the prayer meeting of our sisters of Ain Karem, in Chile, will take place in the best possible way. We also agreed on the dates and themes of the meetings for the year 2026 and renewed our commitment to collaborate so that the prayer meeting of our sisters of Ain Karem, in Chile, will take place in the best possible way.
The sisters were motivated and enthusiastic to participate online in the various Bicentennial activities that the Province and the Congregation will be carrying out. We began this journey by joining the Eucharist of the Bicentennial celebration in Peru.
