When love is shared, hope blossoms

In the community of Bella Vista, a region in the state of Aragua, Venezuela, we share this ray of hope amid so much darkness and the extreme circumstances we face every day, in a country where the people are very generous and empathetic.

A group of laypeople from the Vedruna family, together with the sisters, carries out a small mission, which we do with love and dedication. Our beneficiaries are a group of people—grandfathers and grandmothers—in vulnerable situations. We strive to let the arms of Saint Joaquina embrace some of their needs by providing them with a hearty and varied breakfast and, above all, showing each one affection.

On this occasion, we wrapped up a year-long mission (project), and we treated them to drinks, breakfast, and cake as a special gesture.

Joyful and grateful, they expressed their feelings by offering blessings and giving thanks for all they had received.

For our part, we give thanks to God for allowing us to be part of this great Vedruna charismatic family, living out the motto “generous love, an inspiring mission.”

May the Holy Spirit bless and encourage all those people and organizations that make this possible.

We all nurture that mustard seed so that it may grow each day, among the most vulnerable, at the Nuestra Señora del Valle School.
