The season of creation and feast of the jungle was celebrated with tribal women community in Vedruna Holistic Health Care Centre, Unai, on September 2. Fr.Francis D’sa SJ, The Parish Priest led the group in Prayer and Worship on Nature, Fr.Lancy D’cruz SJ gave input sessions on taking care of Mother Earth, who provides everything for our living. Sr. Lissy Paul ccv spoke on the medicinal values of herbs, gift of the jungles freely given to us human beings for healing. The tribal women displayed a variety of jungle food , that are available during this season of monsoon. An exhibition was held on edible plants, leaves, roots and medicinal herbs.
