The community of Ahmedabad celebrated the Bicentenary in the Parish. Several lay people, collaborators and Religious joined in thanking God for the 200 years of service with love to the different Continents of the world.
Sr. Vinayak SJ, who was the main celebrant, spoke about Joaquina and her commitment to making society a better place, he stressed that Joaquina wanted her daughter to love and to set the whole world on fire. He several times made mention of her letters and especially her letters to her children, inviting all the lay persons present to read the letters of Joaquina to children where they will see how she was a spiritual mother to her children and to the daughters of the Congregation.
