Our Vedruna school in Añisok ended the first trimester of the 2024- 2025 academic year with a Christmas festival attended by parents, students and teachers.
During the presentation of the students’ activities, there was a cordial and festive atmosphere, accompanied by the incessant shouts of joy from parents and tutors. Each course had the opportunity to present their activities, the highlights of which were:
- Interpretation of several theater scenes
- Songs about the birth of the baby Jesus
- Christmas Carols
- Poems
The theme of these activities was the birth of the child Jesus, reminding us that Christmas is celebrated to commemorate him: a birth that makes each of us be reborn from our hearts as children of God and requires us to empty ourselves of all evil and turn back to the path of forgiveness.
One of the poems presented by the children reflected this sentiment:
Christmas is joy, it is happiness, it is reunion, it is gratitude, and it implies rebirth in the spiritual life of all Christians.
The festival ended with ovations, cheers and hugs that showed the degree of joy with which the attendees left. Likewise, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2025.
