Close and fraternal dialogue between the General Team and the Vedruna Laity Team.

On October 12 in the house of El Valle in Madrid we met, for the first time since the Chapter, the General Team with the General Liaison Team of the Vedruna Laity (EEGLV).

On a day as significant as the day of the Virgin of Pilar, we met to share our common journey and the progress made together in the time since the Chapter. In a spirit of closeness, family and fraternity, we began our meeting with prayer based on the Gospel of the day and with the accompaniment of Mary.

From the first moment, we noticed how we all are and feel part of the Vedruna family from the close, fraternal and familiar dialogue. Supported by the Chapter Document, we shared what steps we have been taking from the Chapter in the Joint Lines of Action.

The reflection of both teams gathered what path, spaces and dialogues we have traveled, what steps we can continue to take in the lines of action and some important points to continue working and advancing in the realities that we live today. We are glad to see that the two teams are on the same page, which will surely make it easier to keep moving forward.

The Charismatic Family Commission helps us to glimpse the possibilities and different links of all the members that make up this Family. We give special importance to the joint and participative formation, which gives us the contribution to the mission that each one of us has entrusted to us.

We also noted the need to continue advancing in the revision and adaptation of our structures for functioning and accompanying the communities and the joint journey. Some of the topics discussed, such as communication, information on the current situation and the Bicentennial, were the subject of dialogue at our meeting.

Grateful for our participation in person and online, we all agree that we take with us challenges, illusions, concretions and much, much to do for our Vedruna family.
