In this time of grace that leads us to the Bicentenary of our Vedruna Family, we turn our gaze to the one who has always been our refuge, guide and tenderness: Mary, the Virgin of Mount Carmel.
Like Joaquina, who trusted in her protection even in the midst of difficulties, today too we feel sustained by her tenderness and encouraged to continue to give life to the Charism. With her, we celebrate 200 years of “generous love, inspiring mission,” and we allow ourselves to be renewed by her protection that urges us to be born anew each day.
