From July 26 to 30, the Sisters. From July 26 to 30, the Sisters of the Dominican Republic made “a stop on the road” and we met at Guayacanes beach, to rest and socialize the experiences of the Assembly of Delegates VedrunAmerica held in Lima-Peru.
Having been in contact with the Chapter document “Born Again” on the 29th, we prepare ourselves from prayer to enter into the experience of the Assembly, with the spirit and the heart.
Present during those days, and at the time of the socialization, were Srs. Marita Garcés from the Provincial Team, Amparo Silva and Ileana Lebeque from Cuba and Camila de Jesús, a Dominican who lives in the Haitian community and participated virtually in the Assembly.
Srs. Cecilia de la Cruz as Delegate of the country and Marita Garcés and Noelí Massoni, who also participated in the Assembly, shared in a simple and pleasant way what they had worked on and presented the Province’s Project for the next three years.
The sisters of the communities of the country, received as good news what we have worked and shared, and we remain with the spirit and heart ready to promote the Provincial Project and thus continue to be significant in every place where there is Vedruna presence.
It springs from our heart to say “THANK YOU LORD!”, for the rest, the fraternal fellowship, the aspirations and desires to continue being Good News in the midst of the people we share life and mission with.
