Remembering January 6, 1826

January 6 is a feast day for the Church: we celebrate the Epiphany of the Lord, the manifestation of the Savior. In our Vedruna Family, it is also a great feast, and especially in the year 2026, because it is 200 years since the morning in which Joaquina pronounced her vows before Bishop Don Pablo de Jesus Corcuera.

We share the prayer prepared by the Bicentennial Commission of the Province of Europe, with which, two centuries later, we join the Church and the Vedruna family to, like Joaquina, renew our vows, our lay commitment or our fundamental option to follow Jesus in the Vedruna Family.
