The educational community of El Carmelo “is born again” with its pastoral motto

On Monday, September 23, we gathered as an educational community to reflect and renew ourselves spiritually around the new pastoral motto 2024-2025 “To be born again”. Far from being a mere phrase, it represents a call to transform our lives and to build together a more human and evangelizing educational project.

“To be born again” is to die in sin and be reborn in Christ, it reminds us that inner change begins with leaving behind those attitudes and behaviors that separate us from God. It implies that the life of God germinates in our hearts, flourishes and we take care of it to radiate light and goodness in our surroundings. “Being born again” is a process of constant growth and transformation, which invites us to be authentic, compassionate and committed people.

As members of this educational community, we are called to be missionary disciples, to follow in the footsteps of Jesus, to renew ourselves spiritually and to be agents of change, to make a positive difference in the world.

In conclusion, “To be born again is”:

  • A change of mentality: we open up to new perspectives and a broader vision of reality.
  • A liberating process: To get rid of everything that prevents us from growing and being happy.
  • A commitment to others: To collaborate and build together a more just and supportive community.
  • A path of spiritual growth: Strengthening our faith and our relationship with God.

Our call to action, in this new beginning, is that each of us has a fundamental role to play, so we invite each person to:

  • Give your heart: committing to the values of our institution and living the gospel in daily life.
  • Contribute their hands: collaborating in the different activities and projects carried out in the school.
  • Contribute their talent: putting their skills and knowledge at the service of the community.

Together we can build an educational community where we all feel valued, supported and motivated to reach our full potential.

Let’s be a real team, a true community of faith that makes it all work, flow and move forward!
