The Vic Foundation (Vedruna Intercontinental Communion), was created in 2004 with the aim of promoting community development projects for the benefit of the most disadvantaged sectors of society, with the dream of building a more just and supportive world, where all people have their dignity and freedom .
This work continues twenty years after the Foundation was established, as detailed in the Vic Foundation Report for the year 2024, which can be consulted and downloaded at the following link:
The document details all the projects developed during the past year, which totaled 25 on four continents. In addition, funds were raised to support emergency situations: the floods in Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil, the wars in Gaza and Ukraine, and the floods caused by the DANA in Valencia.
It is very interesting to see the wide variety of actions and initiatives that the Foundation carries out and supports in different ways, thus promoting a circle of solidarity and co-responsibility around the world. The projects are framed in the following areas:
- educational, with the offer of scholarships and educational materials.
- the provision of medicines and medical equipment for health centers
- training, with the recruitment of professionals from various sectors, and the
- food, providing food and other care items
Finally, with a view to transparency, the report includes a section on economic data, which presents the sources of income and the distribution of expenses by project and continent.
