The Vedruna Family deeply regrets the death of Pope Francis and thanks him for his great contribution to the Church, which he has set out in favor of the last ones, and for his contribution to all humanity by defending human rights, incessantly promoting peace and proclaiming universal brotherhood among all.
We wish to highlight with gratitude your firm commitment to synodality, promoting the paths of participation and open processes in the life of the Church. We also recognize your determined defense of the Common Home and your tireless call to care for creation as a concrete expression of God’s love for humanity.
We thank God for the years that he has accompanied us and for the evangelical humanism of simplicity and openness that he leaves to posterity.
