The second Sunday of Lent coincides with the second anniversary of the invasion of Ukraine, a conflict that has left nearly six million refugees and between three and four million internally displaced persons.
As Vedruna Family we have joined this year the spiritual itinerary for the Lenten season offered by JRS (Jesuit Refugee Service), which invites us to “travel with Jesus and the forcibly displaced” in their journey through the desert towards Easter, anticipated this Sunday by the Transfiguration.
