A day of prayer and accountability against corruption

Sr. Nelly, Sr. Ivy & Sr. Eden joined the peaceful gathering called the “Trillion Peso March” (Day of Prayer and Accountability) last September 21, 2025 at Edsa People Power Monument.

The gathering is not a political spectacle, but a moral stand. It was a moment of prayer, solidarity, and action against the entrenched culture of corruption that robs the Filipino people of dignity, deepens poverty, & betrays our future as Filipinos. The purpose is not to destabilize, but to strengthen our democracy. We came together as one people of God, united by faith and concern for the common good. We gathered to be a sign that the Filipino people, guided by faith, will no longer be passive. We stand firm for truth, justice and renewal. We condemn the widespread corruption that poisons our beloved nation. These immoral acts deprive the people, most especially the poor, of their basic needs, destroy the trust to those in power, and hinder the progress of our country.

As a Delegation, we stand firm in promoting and protecting the truth and nothing but the truth. We join our countrymen from our prophetic role & mission to stand for the truth, protect and care for life.  We, as a community and as a Delegation, pray unceasingly for the truth to come out and for our nation to be renewed. We appeal to our leaders to stay true to their vocation of serving the Filipino people, lead our country with integrity, and end all forms of corruption now!

Journeying together, we reflect on ourselves that we may start this change from within. We hold on to the hope that justice and the truth will prevail.

We were not all present in the rally last Sept. 21, but our heart beats with every voice that cries for justice. Our soul marches with every Filipino who refuses to bow to corruption. We will name the guilty. We will expose their crimes. And we will not stop until accountability is served. Our silence is over. Our fight is now.
