Laughter, faith and solidarity: this is how the Vedruna 2025 camps were experienced in La Vega

The Vedruna 2025 camps “Sowing Love we cultivate Hope”, as for so many years, were held in the community of Matanzas (La Vega), from June 30 to July 4 and in the El Pinito Community (La Vega), from July 7 to 11.

Both communities were filled with laughter, games and a lot of joy, in addition to the solidarity of the population to carry out the camps. The camps were a space for human, spiritual and community growth. In Sabaneta, 80 boys and girls participated accompanied by 15 committed monitors; in El Pinito, 96 children and 17 monitors.

During the five days, the participants enjoyed dynamics, games, reflections, moments of prayer and creative activities that promoted the values of coexistence, respect and faith. The enthusiasm of the children and the dedication of the organizing team transformed each day into a seed of hope for all those present.

These camps reaffirm the commitment of the Vedruna community with the integral formation of children and youth, sowing love in the heart of each child, with the hope that it will blossom into a future full of light.

Testimonials from the monitors

Nayeli

It was a deeply enriching experience. To be able to share in an atmosphere of joy, dedication and companionship was really special. It fills me with emotion to see the illusion on the children’s faces, their enthusiasm to participate in each activity and the gratitude with which they responded to each gesture of affection and attention.

This year, teamwork was one of the most outstanding pillars. As a group of monitors, we supported each other, listened to each other and collaborated to offer our best to the children and the community. It was an experience full of learning, both personal and collective. .

Without a doubt, this has been one of the best years of the camp. I leave with a full heart, with new memories and the certainty that every moment shared contributed to sow love and cultivate hope in each of the participants.
