2025 international volunteers prepare in Vic

On March 21, 22 and 23, the International Volunteer Commission met in Vic with the volunteers who will participate in international projects in 2025, in India, Brazil, Peru and Togo.

It was a meeting full of learning, preparation and, above all, commitment to change and positive impact on the communities that await them.

The commission dedicated these words to them:

We are thrilled to see how each of these volunteers will bring a spark of hope and solidarity to all these corners of the world! Thank you all for your efforts and dedication – your journey has just begun!

This was the experience of one of the volunteers, Marta Valencia:

This weekend in Vic has been something really special. The volunteer training has exceeded all my expectations, but the most beautiful thing has been the close and caring treatment we have received. They have made us feel at home from the first minute, creating such a warm and welcoming atmosphere that has allowed us to relax, learn and enjoy every moment to the fullest.

What has impacted me the most is to see the care and dedication with which everything has been prepared. Every activity, every explanation, every detail, was designed to make us feel accompanied in this journey that has just begun. It has been a unique opportunity not only to learn, but also to meet wonderful people and share such enriching experiences.

I was very excited to hear the stories of the commission, to see how they shared their experiences with so much passion and dedication. There is no doubt that this journey will change us, but the most beautiful thing is that it has already begun, here with them, with this training so full of love and humanity. This weekend has been a gift that I will never forget, thank you for making it so special!
