The Vedruna Family celebrates this month its Bicentenary making visible, once again, the extraordinary richness and diversity that characterize it. Present today in 21 countries on four continents, the charism of Joaquina de Vedruna has been able to incarnate itself, for two centuries, in cultural, social and linguistic contexts very different from those in which it was born in 1826, showing a vitality that continues to generate life and shared mission.
Art has always been a mirror of who we are. On this occasion, music becomes a common language that allows us to recognize and celebrate the plurality of faces, voices and sensibilities that make up our Family. Each interpretation, each nuance and each language brings its own color to the same shared inspiration.
The Bicentenary hymn, Woman so full of trust, composed by Ain Karem and published on August 28, 2025, was initially released in three of the most widely spoken languages within the Vedruna Family – Spanish, English and French –as a first sign of openness and communion.
Since then, for months, Vedruna communities from different parts of the world have worked with creativity and care on new adaptations, respecting the original spirit of the hymn and enriching it with the cultural sensitivity of each people. The result is a true choral work that expresses unity in diversity.

Each version is much more than a translation: it is an artistic recreation that resonates the same charisma with its own accents, confirming that diversity does not disperse us, but strengthens and unites us.
